According to CoinStats AI's August 1 analysis, Ether.fi (ETHFI) trades near $0.40–$0.42 against the backdrop of a liquid restaking sector it dominates with roughly $4 billion in TVL and 3.4 million restaked ETH. The headline price, however, obscures a structural question worth more attention: how does a token's expanding supply reset the bar for valuation when the underlying protocol itself continues to accumulate restaked assets?

The supply curve that changed the math

Ether.fi's previous all-time high of $8.52–$8.57 on March 27, 2024 coincided with a circulating supply of just 115.2 million tokens, only around 11.5% of the maximum. The current circulating supply sits between 927 and 973 million tokens, and at today's market capitalization of roughly $395–$401 million, a return to that nominal price would now require a fully diluted valuation near $8.5 billion—more than five times the market cap recorded at the prior peak.
